Urooba Khalid, the Co-Founder and Creative Lead of Focus Productions Pakistan, is a dynamic individual with a passion for empowering women and showcasing their talents. With a demonstrated history of excellence in the photography and film-making industry, Urooba‘s work reflects her commitment to capturing the essence of every event and project with utmost dedication. Hailing from Fata and proud of her Peshawar roots, she is determined to leave a lasting impact on her community and prove that anything is possible with determination and skill.

With almost a decade of experience in her role at Focus Productions Pakistan, Urooba has been instrumental in creating stunning visuals that leave a lasting impression. Her extensive background in technical roles, such as Senior Service Desk Analyst at En Pointe Technologies and dinCloud, and as a Technical Writer & Service Desk Analyst at Ovex Technologies, adds a unique perspective to her creative endeavors.

Urooba holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar, where she actively contributed to various activities and societies, including serving as Vice-President of the Computer Cell and Editor of Art Section Cemazine. During her tenure at Welltime Ltd. from August 2008 to April 2012, Urooba Khalid served as a dedicated Software Engineer. With a remarkable duration of 3 years and 9 months, she contributed her skills and expertise to the company’s projects and endeavors in Pakistan. As a skilled photographer and cinematographer, she has received endorsements for her expertise in digital photography, cinematography, creative design, and project management.

Moreover, Urooba‘s involvement with Google Business Group Peshawar as a Media Partner showcases her commitment to economic empowerment and her dedication to promoting new businesswomen and startups. Her achievements and recognition, including being a speaker at Google Startup Grind, highlight her impact in the entrepreneurial sphere.
