The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is a respected apex body representing businessmen and industrialists in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region and surrounding tribal belt. Established in 1958, SCCI’s prime objective is to promote trade, business, and industrial activities in the area. With around 3000 members from small, medium, and large businesses, SCCI acts as a vital link between the local business community and the government, providing essential statistical and business databases. It operates as a not-for-profit association, working as a bridge between the public and private sectors, and serves as an advisory and regulatory body for the government and business institutions. The SCCI is registered under the Companies Ordinance 1984 and is licensed by the Director General Trade Organizations under the Ministry of Commerce. The Executive Committee, led by the President, guides the Chamber’s administrative and development policies. Additionally, the Chamber encourages women entrepreneurs with a 10% representation in its Executive Committee.
